In June of 2018, a small contingent of the Sony Alpha Imaging Collective and Sony Artisan Of Imagery Colby Brown had a special opportunity to explore some of the Australia Outback. With some of the latest Sony cameras and lenses, the group set off for the dramatic desertscapes near Uluru, the captured the stars of the southern hemisphere in ideal dark-sky conditions, they swam in the waters near Darwin and they got to experience vistas from high in the air. In this glimpse at the Collective's Australia adventure, you can see why Australia and the remote Northern Territory are photography paradise. See more from the journey at #AICdoesTheOutback.
How freaking cute is this baby Wallaby? This was pretty amazing to see in real life. All I wanted to do this trip was to see a Wallaby/Kangaroo in person. @TopDidj made that happen. They rehabilitate wallabies that have been hurt from accidents then release them back in the wild once they’re fully healthy. Check them out if you’re ever in the Kathrine, Northern Territory. #ntaustralia #aicdoestheoutback #sonyimages #sonyalpha #alphacollective @sonyalpha • A7RllI • 35mm • f2.8 • 1/320s • ISO 320
