You know what day it is, and we’re serving up another Instagram Follow Friday to celebrate. In this week’s edition you’ll find a number of Sony shooters, including several who have been up close with some serious wildlife, one dedicated to capturing NYC in black and white and another inspiring Sony Artisan and mentor of the Alpha Female program who is excelling in the wedding industry with her team of photographers.

Stan Moniz – @stanmoniz

Stan is a photographer/filmmaker and member of the Sony Alpha Imaging Collective. His account boasts beautiful shots of nature, including sunrise, sunset, astro and underwater photos. He’s about as adventurous as they come, his latest excursion being a swim with humpback whales in The Kingdom of Tonga. Using the Sony α7R III for photos and the RX0 for video footage, he was able to come away with breathtaking captures that show the enormity of these graceful creatures. Follow his account to keep up with his future adventures.

Marisa Marulli – @marisamarulli

Marisa is a travel photographer and journalist who is passionate about environmental conservation and the human connection. After doing her research and deciding to switch to Sony mirrorless at the beginning of the year, she hasn’t looked back. With her α7R III, she has traveled all over capturing beautiful photos of nature. In addition to the wonderful outdoor landscapes, you’ll also see some great long exposure light painting shots on her account.

Taylor Thomas Albright – @taylorthomasalbright

Taylor is based in Arizona and his account highlights the great outdoors – especially its enchanting wildlife. Using the speed of Sony’s α9 camera, he is able to capture birds in flight, head-to-head battles between bighorn sheep and plenty of bear doing their best to catch a dinner of leaping salmon. Ashley Noel – @nyroamer

Ashley is another member of the Alpha Collective, and, as her Instagram handle suggests, she spends a lot of time roaming around NYC with her Sony α6000 and 16-50mm lens. Mostly through black and white images, her account does a wonderful job of exploring the city that never sleeps. Keep an eye on Ashley’s account if you’re a fan of the classic aesthetic of the Big Apple in black and white.

Sara France – @sarafrance

Sara is a Sony Artisan and one of the mentors in the Alpha Female program. She is based in San Diego and runs a wedding photography business with a team called France Photographers. Her account not only shows elegant wedding shots, but also does a great job of keeping her audience posted on the latest Sony news and events.
