March is Women’s History Month, a month set aside to celebrate the contributions and achievements of women. We’re kicking it off by featuring a solid group of female creators who inspire us each and every day with their work. If you aren’t already following these Brand Ambassadors, now is the time to add them to your feeds to make 2024 your year of inspiration and action. Allison Anderson – @photoallison

Allison Anderson is a travel and lifestyle photographer, vlogger and Sony Brand Ambassador. She creates and shares videos of her travels on her YouTube Channel, mainly focusing on solo travel, that encourage her viewers to book the trip, join the club, or do whatever they need to do to increase the saturation of your entire life. If you’re one who’s filled with wanderlust, Anderson is a great follow for stunning travel pics and tips.

Amber Baird – @amberbaird & @eyenamics

Amber Baird is a breast cancer survivor, filmmaker, educator and Sony Artisan. As half of the international award-winning Eyenamics filmmaking team, she creates a variety of content including commercial, corporate, television and documentary. She has a keen eye for wedding storytelling, and her expertise in creating such dynamic wedding videos isn’t the only thing that makes her an inspiration to follow. The bravery throughout her cancer battle, documented here, is yet another reason Baird is a force to be reckoned with and an inspiration to many creators.

Endia Beal – @endiabeal

Sony Artisan Endia Beal is an artist, speaker, educator and author. She works to reveal the often overlooked experiences unique to people of color through her photography and videography. Her work was recently included in the book, “Collaboration, A Potential History of Photography,” and you can learn more about the important book in her post below. Nancy Borowick – @nancyborowick

Nancy Borowick is a photographer, speaker and author who has told the intimate stories of people and places from every corner of the globe. The Sony Artisan has worked regularly with the New York Times since 2013 and won many awards for her ability to capture compelling imagery. She is currently based in St. John in the US Virgin Islands, and has focused her work on telling stories of health, struggle and personal relationships, using compassion, humility and trust as tools to connect with and explore the lives of her subjects.

Tomayia Colvin, EdD – @tomayiacolvin

Tomayia Colvin, EdD is a teacher, senior portrait photographer, author, photography educator and Sony Artisan based in Houston, TX. She’s a business coach for photographers, helping others scale and create their dream business. Crissi Beth Cooper – @crissibeth

Crissi Beth Cooper is a NYC-based photographer and member of the Sony Brand Ambassador. She goes all over the city, and really the world, with her camera to capture architecture, heights, art and the city’s secret places. Her travel imagery and New York City street photography captures extraordinary views like the one below, and often include leading lines, symmetry and other ways to captivate the viewer’s eye.

Gina Danza – @wildgina

Gina Danza is an intimate landscape photographer, SciArtist and Sony Brand Ambassador. She’s also a television and content producer, writer and host, with her work currently featured on Discovery’s digital platforms. She enjoys teaching others about nature through her art, and she’s created her own series on Instagram called, “Botany Bites,” to do just that. Zabrina Deng – @zabrinaxyz

Sony Artisan Zabrina Deng has traveled the world as a wedding, engagement and portrait photographer. She’s been featured in a number of wedding-related publications and is a WPPI Master Photographer. Her thoughtful compositions and inclusion of the environment help to tell the story of each subject she photographs. Katrin Eismann – @katrin_eismann

Katrin Eismann is a Sony Artisan, Adobe Product Manager, artist, author, educator and photographer. Her curiosity for all things leads her to create compelling travel, still life and portrait photography. She founded and chaired the Masters in Digital Photography department at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and, after twenty years at SVA, is now working with the Adobe Lightroom team to create learning and inspirational content - which you can view on Lightroom Academy. She snapped this shot of a family flying a kite in Sharjah using her Sony Alpha 7CR and Sony 24mm f/2.8 G, and it depicts her ability to find beautiful light with a beautiful moment.

Sara France – @sarafrance

Sony Artisan Sara France is a renowned luxury wedding photographer in San Diego and for destination weddings. France says she is obsessed with love stories, and finds it an honor to chronicle couples at the start of their greatest adventure. She is also equally as passionate about helping other photographers get their business in order so they can focus on their art, so she’s a great mentor for those forging a career in the industry. Jean Fruth – @jeanfruthimages

Jean Fruth is a sports photographer and Sony Artisan who documents baseball around the world in all of its forms, from grassroots to the Major Leagues. The global sports photographer is the co-founder of @grassrootsbaseball, an organization that promotes and celebrates the amateur game around the globe. One of her latest ventures captures women in baseball, like in the images below depicting the Daejeon Ladies practicing in South Korea, who were the winners of the Women’s Baseball Associate of Korea championship in 2022. Lizzy Gadd – @elizabethgadd

Sony Brand Ambassador Lizzy Gadd is an inspiring self-portrait artist. Her imagery encapsulates her love of nature, animals and adventure by morphing them into otherworldly scenes we could only dream of. She has an ongoing self-portrait project to post 100 self-portraits, and you can find 24/100 in her post below. Her Instagram also often features behind-the-scenes videos of her creating and she’s been vlogging about it all on her YouTube Channel. Follow her for more magical landscape scenes in your feed.

Melissa Groo – @melissagroo

Sony Artisan Melissa Groo is a renowned wildlife and conservation photographer. She’s a member of the International League of Conservation Photographers, and works closely with them to set ethical principles for wildlife photographers. She even created the National Audubon Society's Guide to Ethical Bird Photography to educate other photographers on how to photograph wildlife without disturbing it. She’s a warrior for wildlife and a writer and teacher on the topic in addition to creating meaningful imagery. She’s a must-follow for anyone interested in wildlife photography and both the extrinsic beauty and intrinsic worth of animals.

Renee Hahnel – @reneeroaming

Renee Hahnel, an Aussie based in Seattle, is a photographer, blogger and Sony Brand Ambassador. Her brand, Renee Roaming, is all about helping you get out and explore. She posts photos and videos of her adventures, inspiring millions of travelers to live intentionally, place value on experiences over possessions, and to find joy exploring this beautiful world we call home. Jessica Hirsch – @cheatdayeats

Sony Brand Ambassador Jessica Hirsch is a food photographer and videographer and the founder of @cheatdayeats. Cristina Mittermeier – @mitty

Cristina Mittermeier is a conservation photographer and co-founder of @SeaLegacy, an organization dedicated to promoting the protection of the world’s oceans through storytelling. The Sony Artisan’s work has been published in hundreds of publications, including National Geographic Magazine, McLean’s and TIME. Rachel Jones Ross is a Banff-based photographer and Sony Brand Ambassador.
