Gary Hart – @garyhartphoto

Sony Artisan of Imagery Gary Hart has photographed nature’s beauty—large and small, rain or shine, night and day—for nearly 40 years. Most of his lightning-strike photos are taken at the Grand Canyon, but he got lucky a few years ago in Yosemite and managed to capture this photo of a strike hitting half dome at Glacier Point. He has a real knack for photographing vast landscapes all over the world, and he recently shared an awesome photo trip guide for New Zealand. Give him a follow for more beautiful landscapes in your feed.

Mike Olbinski – @mikeolbinski

Mike isn’t just a wedding photographer and filmmaker, he’s also a stormchaser! And who better to capture breathtaking lightning strike images than a storm chaser equipped with Sony Alpha gear? When Mike hears of a big storm he gets in the car and goes after it, and you’ll see the insane results as you look through his account. The crazy cloud formations and intense lightning bolts he manages to capture will make you thankful that you can view them safely from the comfort of your own phone. He just recently captured this image of lightning in the Rincon Mountains with his Sony α7R III.

Todd Frame – @toddframephotography

Todd is a Sony shooter focusing on landscapes and travel photography. You’ll definitely want to give his account a follow and scroll through to see one mesmerizing landscape after another. The way he composes his shots and then exposes properly for the light creates colorful and detailed images that we can’t get enough of. He took this shot in beautiful Sedona using the Sony α7R III and the Sony 16-35mm f/2.8 G Master.

Fendy Gan – @depth_of_fendy

Fendy is a Sony photographer who focuses on landscape, travel, cityscape and drone photography. His account boasts a colorful array of cityscapes and landscapes, often playing with the available light to create a one-of-a-kind image. He created this powerful lightning strike image of the Canton Tower in Guangzhou, China using the Sony α7 III and Sony 12-24mm f/4 G lens.

Tommaso Di Donato – @tommaso.didonato

Tommaso is a landscape photographer based in Italy. He’s a Sony shooter and he has some really beautiful images, both landscape and astroscape, on his account from a wide variety of places. His photo below was taken at Hạ Long Bay in Vietnam using his Sony α7R II and was his first time trying to capture lightning. Good stuff!
