This week, we’ve gathered some fantastic landscape photographers who share their tips, passion and thoughts on all things landscape photography on YouTube.

James Popsys - @JamesPopsysPhoto

James Popsys is a travel and adventure photographer based in the UK. His YouTube channel focuses on landscape photography, with a dash of humor. In the video below, he heads to the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales to try out some landscape photography with the Sony 24mm f/1.4 G Master and Sony 85mm f/1.4 G Master. To spark some creativity, he challenged himself to take all these images at f/1.4, which isn’t always typically for sweeping landscapes. We think the results were pretty good, take a look for yourself!

Jonny Keeley - @JonnyKeeleyPhoto

Jonny Keeley is a professional photographer and videographer. He has grown a huge following on YouTube by sharing advice on how you can improve your photography and presence on Instagram as a photographer. However, he just created a new channel specifically for photography, hiking and adventures in the great outdoors, which has tons of tips for landscape imagery. Keeley shoots his vlogs on the Sony Alpha 7S III and he just upgraded his primary stills camera to the Sony Alpha 7 IV, which he describes as “the perfect still camera.”

Mads Peter Iversen- @MadsPeterIversen

Mads Peter Iversen is a landscape photographer who has over 150K subscribers on YouTube. His channel is all about inspirational, educational, and informative landscape photography video guides. He shares guides, stories, tutorials, and thoughts on landscape photography. In the video below, he walks through what gear you really need to be successful with landscape photography - unlike popular belief, Iversen doesn’t think you need to break the bank to make great images. He shoots with the Sony Alpha 7R III, and he says it makes fantastic images. In terms of lenses, he recommends the ‘holy trinity:’ wide angle, mid range, and telephoto. Iversen himself uses the Sony 12-24mm f/4 G, Sony 24-105mm f/4 G, and the Sony 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 G Master.

William Patino - @WilliamPatinoPhotography

Professional landscape photographer Will Patino lives in Fiordland, New Zealand. He’s a passionate teacher and uses his Youtube channel to share photography tips, vlogs, and adventures in the NZ landscape. In the video below, Patino goes on a camping trip to make landscape photos. He takes the Sony 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 G Master lens and discusses the plus points and negatives of shooting with a telephoto lens. He states, “I love working with the tele, it opens up what we can shoot, and gives us the ability to tell some more focussed stories.” Check out his channel for more tips and adventures!

Rauri Barron - @RauriBarron

Rauri Barron is based in Queensland Australia. He is passionate about landscape photography, creating videos, tech, and gear and shares this passion with his subscribers on YouTube. The video below is a landscape photography vlog. Barron uses his Sony Alpha 7 III and Sony 24-105mm f/4 G lens for some epic sunrise photography at the beautiful Scenic Rim in Queensland Australia. We love seeing how he visualizes the images and readjusts as the light changes.
