We're rolling into the weekend with another fresh group of Sony shooters to follow on Instagram. In this edition of Instagram Follow Friday we’re excited to again highlight a trio of photographers who are just about to complete their nine-day journey capturing all of the public piers down the California coast with Sony α7R III cameras and 24mm f/1.4 G Master lenses, a Sony Artisan with an eye for fashion, an Alpha Collective member finding beauty in the darkness and two other Sony shooters who are using lighting in unique ways to bring new life to their captures.

Eric Rubens – @erubes1, Garrett King – @shortstache, Cas Sheridan – @cassheridan

Alpha Collective members Eric Rubens (@erubes1) and Garrett King (@shortstache), along with another Sony shooter Cas Sheridan (@cassheridan), are just about to wrap up their whirlwind trip to capture the historic piers of California’s coastline. They spent nine days traveling from Crescent City to San Diego and documenting all of the public piers in between. Jenn is a Sony shooter who makes incredible use of light rays in her work. Her dreamy landscape and nature shots remind us of the beauty of the natural world, and you can practically feel the warmth from the light rays shining through her photos. Mike Perez – @mikeperezmedia

Mike Perez is a content creator who posts a ton of impressive street and landscape shots to his account. Using his Sony α7S II, he often plays with long exposure to give the lighting in his images a dramatic and moody effect. Each post includes an inspiring caption or quote along with it, so give him a follow for motivation to get out in the world and create! 

Ashley Brehm – @ashleyinwanderland

Ashley is another member of the #AlphaCollective, and her handle @ashleyinwanderland is a perfect fit for her style. Many of her portraits are like something straight out of a dark fairytale. She uses her subjects to create dreamy, whimsical photographs in front of backgrounds of varying moody landscapes. Give her a follow for a moody style that finds light in the obscurity.

Nino Rakichevich – @nino_rakichevich

Nino is a Sony Artisan specializing in portrait, street, fashion and fine art photography. On his account you’ll find a little bit of all of these things, but his backstage photos from fashion shows are what draws us in most. If there’s anyone out there to provide a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes of the fast-moving world of fashion photography, it’s Nino. He’s a total pro and knows exactly how to get the photo that stands out from everyone else’s.
