Elina Osborne is a filmmaker based in Auckland, New Zealand. Osborne has thru-hiked the Pacific Crest Trail and she vlogged her entire journey. Since then, she’s done quite a few other major hikes around the world. Hiking for months on end requires carrying all your equipment, so Osborne makes her videos with the lightweight Sony Alpha 7S II with the Sony 35mm f/1.8 or the Sony Alpha 7S III paired with the Sony 24mm f/1.4 G Master. Italian based filmmaker Denis Barbas has become popular on YouTube for the cinematic videos he produces and shares. He also shares tutorials and tips on how you can create cinematic content as well. He put together the cinematic vlog below called “THE MOUNTAINS” in which he tries to explain his love for the mountains and for nature. This is beautifully shot. Cody and Victoria are filmmakers, photographers, and outdoors enthusiasts living the mountain life. Their YouTube channel is dedicated to sharing adventures, cinematic films, and all things that fit their outdoors lifestyle. They have become quite popular for their cinematic vlogs, where they share their adventures with their filmmaker's eye. We love the vlog they posted below of them rock climbing in Yosemite National Park. They shoot their videos on the Sony Alpha 7 IV, the Sony 24-105mm f/4 G and the Sony 16-35mm f/4. The high quality of their vlogs truly make them stand out.
Brian Lackey
Brian Lackey is a professional photographer whose YouTube account acts as his travel vlog. His channel gives you a behind the scenes look into the day in the life of a travel photographer wherever he’s photographing at the time. It’s great fun to see where in the world he is at the moment and how he makes epic imagery using his Sony Alpha 7R IV or Sony Alpha 7S III along with the Sony 24mm f/1.4 G Master, Sony 35mm f/1.4 G Master and Sony 55mm f/1.8.
