Want To Simplify Your Workflow? Try Using A More Open System

A well-established workflow can help you simplify your photography process, and the best photographers are always looking for ways to improve theirs to increase efficiency. One way to simplify your process is by using a more open system that allows you to customize your workflow to directly suit your needs. In this video, professional photographer Tony Gale shares his workflow from capture, to computer, to client delivery using his Xperia 5 II and Sony Alpha cameras. Watch as the Sony Artisan shares how the open system on both the phone and his computer make things easier and more customizable throughout his process.

“On a lot of my projects we need behind-the-scenes photos,” Gale explains in the video. “Maybe it’s so we can duplicate the setup in the future. Maybe it’s because the client wants social media pictures or pictures for the front of a magazine – other things like that. The Xperia is a great tool for that. It’s always in my pocket, and with the Photo Pro App, I can set the white balance. I can capture in RAW. It’s got a lot of the same setting my Sony Alpha cameras have. So it’s a great combination.”
