See How These Creatives Are Wrapping Up 2021 On Instagram

As 2021 comes to a close, creatives have the opportunity to look back at all they accomplished over the past year, as well as to look forward to what they hope to achieve in the next one. It’s a time for both reflection and goal-setting, and to wrap up the year, we’ve compiled some of the recaps and 2021 send-offs that Sony creatives are posting on Instagram. See their posts below and follow their accounts to keep up with what’s next for them in 2022. Tiffany Nguyen – @tiffpenguin

Los Angeles-based travel photographer Tiffany Nguyen of the Alpha Collective posts beautiful content from all over the world on her Instagram. In this post she takes a look back at all of her adventures throughout 2021 with the caption, “What a year it’s been! At the beginning of this year, I made the conscious effort to live every day with intention. I learned the importance of having a balanced lifestyle, setting boundaries where they were necessary, and sharing my energy with people that will be positive influences on my life. This year has brought so many changes for all of us. It’s been one of the best years of my career so far and I couldn’t have done it without all of your support. I hope you guys end the year on a high note and enjoy these last few days. Here’s to a new year and a renewed opportunity to better yourself every day!”

Brooke Shaden – @brookeshaden

Brooke Shaden is a self-portrait artist and Sony Artisan Of Imagery. On her Instagram she shares a collection of her favorite creations from 2021 and says, "2021 was like a blank map; it didn't give any indication of where to go, but I filled in the places as my curiosity guided me. Allison Anderson – @photoallison

YouTube creator Allison Anderson of the Alpha Collective was excited to return to travel this year, as she mentions in this post on her Instagram. “What were your highlights of 2021? Getting back to travel, especially internationally, was a big one for me. I had the best time experiencing Germany by rail in the fall.” Anderson shares many of her travel adventures on social media and if you’re curious about the rail route she took in Germany, just read the entire caption from her post for the details. Kesha Lambert – @keshalambert

Professional wedding and portrait photographer Kesha Lambert travels the world to capture people in their best light. The Sony Artisan posted this epic recap Instagram reel that shows some of the incredible work she’s created over the past year and it’s clear she’s been busy! Follow her to see what she does in 2022…we can’t wait to see it. 

Gary Hart – @garyhartphoto

Professional nature photographer, educator and Sony Artisan Gary Hart has years of experience capturing beautiful landscapes and teaching others to do the same. To recap 2021, on Instagram Hart is posting a collection of some of his favorite images of the year. In Part 1 below you’ll find beautiful landscapes and astroscapes from Yosemite, the Grand Canyon and more. Ananya Ray – @ananya.ray

Ananya Ray is an Alberta, Canada-based travel content creator and member of the Alpha Collective. In her Instagram post she wishes for everyone’s 2022 to start off with a bang and shares this beautiful footage from the Yi Peng Chiang Mai Lantern Festival in Thailand. Ray, along with several other Alpha Collective members and Sony Artisan Ira Block attended the festival in 2019 and captured the unique photographic experience.

Don Smith – @don_smith_photography

Sony Artisan Don Smith is a professional landscape photographer and educator. One of his favorite traditions each year is to countdown the final days of the year with the 12 favorite images that he took. This image, his third favorite of 2021, captured the beautiful fall-colored oak trees in California. Stay tuned to his Instagram account – he’ll be posting his favorite image on New Year’s morning.

Vince Lim – @vincelimphoto

Hawaii-based photographer and Alpha Collective member Vince Lim captures colorful landscape, travel and lifestyle photos. In his recap post below you’ll find many of his beautiful travel images throughout the year along with the caption, “What a journey it’s been this year! I would say that 2021 was a step in the right direction, and @jessicafang and I were able to travel a little throughout the pandemic. We met some incredible people along the way and spent some time with familiar faces. I’m excited for what 2022 will bring and I hope you all have a big year! Thank you for always supporting the page! Andy Luten – @realandyluten

Andy Luten is a travel blogger and photographer based in Dallas, Texas. To wrap up his year in photography, he’s been counting down each day with one of his top 10 photos from the past year. He posts this shot taken with the Sony Alpha 1 and Sony 400mm f/2.8 G Master with the caption, “#Bestof2021 Number 4: Texas bluebonnets. There are sunrises over bluebonnets and then there was this sunrise! Jennifer Carr – @jennifercarrphotography

Landscape photographer Jennifer Carr’s captions on Instagram always perfectly match the landscape, and the fresh snow of this beautiful shot from the Northern Cascades helps send us into the new year with a fresh start. She captured the image with her Sony Alpha 7R III and Sony 100-400mm f/.4.5-5.6 G Master and posts it with the caption, “We're back in the North Cascades to celebrate the transition from one year to another. When we said goodbye to 2020 here, we had no idea what lay ahead of us. Brandt Ryder – @brandtryderphotography

Brandt Ryder is a landscape and nightscape photographer living in Fort Collins, Colorado. To round out 2021 he posted a selection of his favorite landscape and astroscape images from the year with the caption, “Top 10 of 2021- here’s a selection of my favorite exposures from 2021. These images were not necessarily the best performing but these moments spent enjoying the sheer beauty of our planet will last a lifetime. This year has been full of ups and downs but I’m truly grateful for a platform and community that appreciates and values my work.
