Winter Is Coming: See How These Creators Capture Landscapes In The Cold

The term “winter” conjures up images of snowfall, holiday lights, steaming mugs of hot chocolate and so much more. It brings to mind images of snowy mountaintops and pristine, white hills blanketed in snow. Capturing these dreamy images of winter landscapes can be a fun (and sometimes grueling) challenge. From keeping your hands warm to creating interesting compositions, there’s lots to consider when photographing winter landscapes. Check out these Sony shooters on Instagram who are capturing (and sharing) stunning wintry landscapes and images as they face the cold to create photographic magic. Take a look at their work and give them a follow. And for more inspiration and joyful photography content, be sure to follow @SonyAlpha on Instagram.

See how these photographers are facing the cold to create photographic magic, and they're sharing the gear they use to make it happen.

Spending loads of time in the backcountry it is a blast to follow Nate on Instagram and see what imagery he comes back with. And we certainly ‘oohed’ with joy over this shot of a penguin in Antarctica! Nate captured this adorable shot on his Sony Alpha 1 and the new Sony 300mm f/2.8 G Master. While the penguin is the start of the show, we also love the beautiful light in the background. All around a perfect image!
