These adventure photographers always pack their cameras to capture and share their shots with the world along the way.

Stevin Tuchiwsky – @stevint

Stevin Tuchiwsky is a member of the Sony Alpha Imaging Collective. As an outdoor lifestyle photographer capturing images in adventure, sports, and landscapes, there’s never a dull moment on his Instagram. We love the landscape below, made on the Sony Alpha 7 II and the Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 G Master. It’s a great example of making an interesting landscape by honing in. So often we make landscapes with ultra wide lenses, attempting to really showcase the grandeur, and while these images are great fun, it can be more interesting to only show a small snippet of the scene, as Stevin did here.

Autumn Schrock – @autpops

Autumn Schrock is a photographer and designer specializing in outdoor lifestyle, travel, and landscape photography. She is also a member of the Sony Alpha Imaging Collective. Her photography is known for its bright colors and tranquil landscapes/astroscapes, and she goes on one adventure after another to capture such special scenes. She made the image below with the Sony Alpha 1 and the Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 G Master. Learn some of her tips on adventure photography HERE

Allison Anderson - @photoallison

Allison Anderson is a travel photographer, vlogger and member of the Alpha Collective. She solo travels the world and captures the beautiful moments she experiences along the way. Her Instagram is full of stunning scenes and moments from her travels. Her YouTube Channel is full of videos that provide helpful tips for traveling and give you firsthand accounts of the places she visits and the gear she uses. The images below are from a trip to Antarctica, she used her Sony Alpha 1 and Sony 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 G Master⁣.

Lauren Trench - @ltrenchviews

Lauren Trench is a visual storyteller, writer and traveler. A few weeks ago, she won the “Adventure” themed Sony Alpha Female micro-grant for the image below! Allison Anderson was the judge for that week and she spoke about the image stating, “I was immediately struck by the composition of this photo. The perspective is intriguing and the exposure simultaneously highlights both the cave and distant landscape.” Check out more of Lauren’s work by following her on Instagram!

Anna Benz - @california_by_anna

Anna Benz is a landscape photographer based in San Diego, California. Through photography she attempts to capture simple moments of the Earth. Her goal is to encourage people to appreciate their surroundings and Mother Nature. She shoots with a minimalistic style that makes her Instagram feed visually appealing.

Sara Boychuk - @saraboychuk_

Sara Boychuk is a photographer based in the Canadian Rockies. As you scroll through her Instagram feed, you’ll see gorgeous scenes of mountains and other cold weather locales. Her go-to camera is the Sony Alpha 7 III, paired with a variety of Sony lenses. We love the framing in the shot below!

Lauren Murray - @laurenkyliemurray

New Zealand based photographer Lauren Murray focuses her photography on adventure, nature, and storytelling. We love her minimalist compositions and use of moody color tones. One thing she’s learned is to follow your own vision. She explains, “Shoot for yourself first and foremost. It’s so easy to get caught up in imposter syndrome, or by comparisons, or following a trend, but as long as you are always shooting what captivates you, you will love it.”

Alexa Flower - @a.little.wall.flower

Adventure photographer Alexa Flower is a self-taught, freelance photographer, working with Patagonia and other outdoor brands. She previously worked for Yosemite Search and Rescue, rescuing hikers and climbers. Flower also served as a Climbing Ranger, which entails going rock climbing for patrols, explaining climbing to the public and educating climbers on how to lessen their environmental impact while recreating in the outdoors. All this past work has primed her to be an impactful adventure photographer. Her go-to gear is the Sony Alpha 7R III paired with either the Sony 16-35mm f/4 or the Sony 24-70mm f/4.

Elina Osborne - @elinasborne

New Zealander Elina Osborne is a photographer, filmmaker, and vlogger. She is known for her YouTube channel, where she vlogs her long hikes. And we mean really long, like the 2,650 mile long Pacific Crest Trail. Elina has documented quite a few hiking trips, including one in Japan with her brothers. She documents them on her Sony Alpha 7S III and one or two lenses (depending on how much she wants to carry) including the Sony 24mm f/1.4 G Master and the Sony 35mm f/2.8. She is currently hiking the Hayduke Trail, an 812-mile route across southern Utah and northern Arizona and we can’t wait to see what she produces!

Kyle Obermann – @kyleobermann

Kyle Obermann is a photographer and filmmaker who is known for his work in conservation, storytelling and adventure. With his Sony Alpha 9, Obermann shares stories of conservation efforts in China, often bringing grassroots conservation to a larger audience and showcases on the ground heroes protecting species and places. We also love following along on his adventures trail running and climbing mountains. Learn more about his work and process HERE.
