Vans, Airstreams, Jeeps, teardrop trailers – content creators are finding more and more unique ways to live life on the road. Documenting life on four wheels brings a whole new perspective of content to viewers, and it’s one that many of us don’t get to experience, making it all the more interesting. We’re featuring a group of vloggers using their Sony gear to document their mobile lifestyles. See how they’re sharing life from vans, Airstreams, Jeeps and more.

Kristen & Siya

Kristen Sarah of the Alpha Collective and her partner Siya create videos that give you tips, tools and advice for full-time RV and Tiny House living as they travel across North America in their renovated 1976 vintage Airstream. Their YouTube Channel gives great insight into what it’s like to live in a small space and how they’ve thoughtfully planned out each area. In this video they give a tour of their child’s spaces on the Airstream trailer. Watch to learn more about how they’ve created space for her to thrive and be creative while living on the road. The entire video they posted below was filmed on the Sony Xperia PRO-I

Louis Cole

Louis Cole of the Alpha Collective has been creating daily vlogs for over 10 years. Along with his partner Raya, Cole has been traveling full time around the world and vlogging the experiences. He recently started a new Recharged Podcast where he invites other content creators in his self-converted 1973 VW van to discuss a variety of topics. He and Raya have also launched a van life course where you can learn more about how to choose a van, how to convert and customize it, what to pack, where to park (and not to park), and much, much more.

Renee Hahnel

Renee Hahnel is a full-time travel photographer, vlogger and member of the Alpha Collective. In the past she traveled to all of the National Parks in the United States via campervan, and now she and her husband, Alpha Collective member Matthew Hahnel, are back in a custom camper van and hitting the road. Check out their latest video from their YouTube Channel where they travel to Olympic National Park in the camper van, which they’ve lovingly named, “Roameo” and explain why they’re returning to van life.

Drew Simms

Drew Simms is a professional photographer and videographer who has been living full time out of his Jeep Wrangler for the past several years. He travels to breathtaking locations and documents his experience camping and staying in his Jeep for his YouTube Channel. His current vlogging setup includes the Sony Alpha 7S III, Sony Alpha 7 IV and the Sony 16-35mm f/2.8 G Master and Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 G Master II. He shot the video below mostly with the Sony Alpha 7 IV.

The Endless Adventure

Eric and Allison are the creators behind The Endless Adventure YouTube Channel. Using their Sony Alpha 7S II, the two full time explorers make fun travel videos of their adventures and share their experiences in their vlogs. They renovated an entire RV and spent some time on the road before escaping to warmer climates for the winter. Subscribe to their channel and check out the video below where they get candid about the ups and downs of full time RV life on the road.

Freely Roaming & Mali Mish

Dan and Marlene along with their kids have been traveling across the globe as a family of five for over a decade and vlogging their experiences on their YouTube Channels. Their Freely Roaming Channel is more educational and covers things like financial independence and mobile income, simplifying your life and living minimalistically, vehicle-based adventure travel, choosing and building your adventure mobile, roadschooling and more. Their Mali Mish Channel is more about the family and their travel experiences. They use the Sony Alpha 7 III as their main content creation camera for videos as well as the Sony Alpha 6600.

Playing With Sticks

The Playing With Sticks YouTube Channel was started by creatives Drew, May, East and Rye as a way to creatively share their passion for small campers. Their videos showcase tips and tricks to help you have a more simple and gratifying camping experience. They provide small travel trailer information, outdoor gear reviews and more on life off the beaten path. They made the big switch from the Panasonic GH5 to using the Sony FX3 for their videos, a decision that Drew says was a great one.

Kendall & Glenn

Kendall and Glenn are an Australian/American couple circumnavigating Australia in Vance, their self-converted 1982 VW T3 van. Their van life adventures began in January 2020 and they’ve been vlogging their incredible journey ever since with their Sony Alpha 7R III. Through their YouTube Channel they give viewers a firsthand look at the beautiful scenery in Australia, with honest thoughts about the trials and tribulations of life on four wheels.
